Birds singing, sun shining

Today is the first day of school! I walked the kids to school this morning. It's only a mile so we figured we might as well walk today. On my way back i was looking out over the water and couldn't help but think what a completely beautiful day it is! There were geese walking around, birds singing, the sun shining and reflecting off the water. You could here kids laughing and talking. The excitement of the first day of school was in the air. As i walked i could smell freshly mowed grass, morning coffee, breakfast. It was a picture perfect morning in our little village. It's days like this that really make me love living here! The absolute perfection of a day like this. You can't ignore God's hand in it all. He put all these things here for my pleasure today. To remind me that He's all around me! All i have to do is look outside. I had my camera phone with me at the time but there was just way to capture it all for you. A picture would never do it justice. A picture doesn't capture the smells, the cloudless sky, the gentle breeze, the cool weather, the feel of the sun as it touches you. I hope you all have a beautiful day too! I'm thinking in about an hour i may lay on the couch and watch some tv in absolute silence! I haven't done that in months!
